Who is the real Jesus?
Do recently discovered ancient manuscripts reveal a different Jesus? Or… does the evidence reveal that the Jesus of the New Testament is the real Jesus? Scholars examine the facts:
Who was---or is Jesus Christ? Christians worship him as God. But the President of American Atheists, Ellen Johnson, claims Jesus didn’t exist. Others say Jesus was an imposter. The Da Vinci Code postulates Jesus was as a great man whose deity was invented by the 4th century Church.
Y-Jesus (see website and magazine) examines the questions that are being asked by both skeptics and believers: Does the latest evidence refute or affirm the picture of Jesus Christ given to us in the New Testament? And is there any evidence for the claim that he rose from the dead?

It has been a little while since we've seen a new (and original) book from John MacArthur. There has been a recent volume edited by him and some reprints of his older material, but it has been some time since we've seen a major, new work. The wait ends in July of this year with the release of The Jesus You Can't Ignore: What You Must Learn from the Bold Confrontations of Christ.
Here is the publisher's description:
Meek and mild. Politically correct. A great teacher. These are the popular depictions of Jesus. But they aren't the complete picture. Maybe because it's uncomfortable, or maybe because it's inconvenient, Christians and non-Christians alike are overlooking the fierceness of the Savior, His passionate mission to make the Gospel clear and bring people into the Kingdom of God. A mission that required he sometimes raise his voice and sometimes raise a whip.
In the much-needed message in The Jesus You Can't Ignore, renowned Bible teacher and best-selling author John MacArthur reintroduces the compelling and often unsettling passion of Jesus' ministry. MacArthur points to the picture of the real Jesus the world is so eager to gloss over. And he calls readers to emulate Jesus' commitment to further the kingdom by confronting lies and protecting the truth of God.
